Privacy Policy

How LearnPath collects and uses information so it can personalize your learning.

Account information

When you create an account we store your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google returns (such as your name and email). We also store the onboarding details you choose, like your grade level and selected subjects.

Authentication

Sign-in and session management are handled by our authentication provider. Sessions are stored in your browser or app so you stay signed in. We do not have access to your Google password.

Learning and progress data

To personalize your study path, we store what you do in the app: quiz results, topic mastery scores, XP, streaks, daily goals, saved Analyzer results, study plans and Coach plans. This is what lets LearnPath tell you what to study next and show your improvement over time.

Analyzer and tutoring inputs

When you use the Analyzer, Tutor or Coach, the question text and any photo you submit are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Results you receive can be saved to your account so you can review them later. We also record how many AI requests an account has made in order to enforce free-plan limits and to prevent abuse of the free trial.

Payment information

Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe and in-app purchases by Apple. We do not receive or store your card number. We store a customer and subscription reference, your plan status, renewal date and whether the subscription is set to cancel — this is how Premium access is granted.

Contact messages

If you send a message through the Contact page, we store the name, email address and message you provide so we can respond to you.

Cookies and similar technology

We use browser storage and cookies that are necessary to run the app — mainly to keep you signed in and to remember your progress and onboarding choices on your device. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use information

  • To provide the Analyzer, Tutor, Coach, quizzes and study plans.
  • To personalize what you see next based on your results.
  • To apply free-plan limits and unlock Premium features.
  • To send account and service emails, and Premium progress reports.
  • To keep the service secure and working correctly.

We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

LearnPath relies on service providers that process data on our behalf: our hosting and database provider (which also handles authentication and stored learning data), our AI provider (which processes your questions to generate responses), Stripe (web payments), Apple (in-app purchases on iOS) and our email delivery provider (account and report emails).

Data retention

We keep your account and learning data while your account exists, so your progress is still there when you come back. Resetting your learning profile clears personalization data but keeps your account, saved results and Premium status. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account data, except records we need to keep for billing or legal reasons.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your profile, reset your learning profile, manage or cancel Premium, and request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information.

Children

LearnPath is designed for students in grades 3–12. Younger students should use it with a parent or guardian's permission, and a parent or guardian may contact us about their child's information.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change, we will update this page. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect where practical.
